        <![CDATA[<p><img height="128" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3406/3275180586_1d627f5404_m.jpg" width="219" border="0" />&nbsp;&nbsp; POB 2374 | Mandeville LA 70448 | <a href="mailto:admin@isisfilms.com">admin@isisfilms.com</a></p><p><a title="Isis Films comes to Hollywood South" href="http://www.lafilm.org/media/index.cfm?id=209">Isis Films has gone through acute growing pains since Hurricane Katrina</a> but we're back stronger than ever, refocussed on what's important: <em>creating quality projects of social relevance</em>.&nbsp; </p><p>With a track record of 7 successfully produced&nbsp;and hundreds of globally distributed feature films -- some award-winning -- Isis Films got off to a rocky start when Hurricane Katrina forced the halt of its first Louisiana-funded and produced picture which was to have shot in New Orleans endured a costly delay and relocation to the central part of the state.&nbsp; Several months and a second round of investment later, the picture was completed.&nbsp; <em>What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger</em> certainly rings true in our case.</p><p>Fast-forward to now: Isis Films has a new face, a new mission and mainly . . . <em>a new purpose</em>.&nbsp; </p><p>In the days to come our vision will unfold on these pages as we share the motivations and stories behind&nbsp;our feature films and documentaries in development.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;From this point forward, the projects to birth from our consortium of filmmakers, writers and digital artists will spark awareness, underline on-going social change and use the fruit of our work to help capitalize these efforts.</p><p>From live events to feature films, documentaries and&nbsp;multiple-platform programs for cable television or the web, if you are a visual artist with a positive message, we want to hear from you.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>]]>
